Few things give me more joy than the simplicity and complexity of life. I love walking around and picking up dandelions, imagining myself as a tiny speck on a vast planet. That's all we are, really... tiny specks, like ants🐜 trying their hardest to do their best. We are like ants, and yet we matter. Our little tiny colony matters, and I matter. I love watching lightning🗲 crash to the floor in a vast sprawling web of electric charge. I find it beautiful and glorious to watch snails🐌 walk, leaving a trail of slime. Everything we touch is made up of atoms and molecules. The joy we get is a result of neurons and dopamine flowing through our brain🧠 and inside the rest of us at a complex unfathomable speed.
Isn't it crazy that we can have qualities similar to our parents and yet look and act like completely different people? Somehow I'm 50% my mom and 50% my dad, yet 100% me. A completely different person. Isn't it incredible that we are at the perfect temperature, so we don't burn up🔥 or freeze🧊 to death? Isn't it amazing that everywhere we go, there's some sort of ecosystem?!🌿 Our whole world is chock full of differences and scales and criteria and culture and race and gender and beauty. Everything that has been created- it's glorious and exciting and new and fantastic. Have you ever really looked at a fire,🔥 and I mean really looked? Everything about it is mesmerizing. How it dissolves a marshmallow, how it creates glowing and what seems like liquid gold on a dying piece of wood, how it can kill and heal simultaneously? It's almost magical.
Another thing that brings forth intrigue is how we as people have utilized fire to construct a thriving economy. There's so much that makes up our society things that are minuscule and game-changers. I don't know about you, but I would love to shake the hand of the guy who created/ discovered the whiteboard. This person saved a lot of ears and hands from the painful sound and texture of chalk. See what I mean? It's simple, yet the theory of relativity can be explained with it. There is so much to life and it's so much fun to dive into. Well, I've got books🕮 to read and essays to write.
Thanks for reading, Have a fantastic day!
